L'acteur de cinéma américain Joaquin Rafael Phoenix, né Joaquin Rafael Bottom s'est aventuré derrière la caméra, réalisant des clips musicaux, produisant des films et des émissions de télévision. Phoenix a enregistré un album, la bande originale de "Walk the Line". Il est également connu pour son travail d'activiste social, en particulier en tant que défenseur des droits des animaux.
