Jonas is an intelligent and angry teenager. He suffers from a form of muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair. When a romance with his beautiful classmate Emily begins to blossom, Jonas neglects his treatment and hides from his mother the fact that his condition is flaring up.
