On an airliner bound for Hong Kong, Tony (Rory Calhoun), a career crook who deals in stolen diamonds, agonizes over whether he should stick with his girlfriend (Dolores Donlon) or pursue Pamela (Barbara Rush), an intriguing novelist with whom he's instantly infatuated.
